2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI Infrastructure placing Crusoe in the Visionaries quadrant

Crusoe was recently named a Visionary in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud AI Infrastructure, evaluated on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. This placement maps to the future we're building, and to a conviction that has driven our roadmap from the start: AI needs a cloud built for it, end to end, from the developer experience, to data centers to energy.

AI is the most demanding, fastest-changing wave of computing workloads, and the most innovative organizations, AI natives and enterprises alike, hit the same limits: too little compute, and too much infrastructure complexity standing between them and a working model or agent. Crusoe Cloud is built to remove both challenges, so the teams building the future can focus on building the future faster. Our AI Platform and Managed AI Services portfolio empowers both AI infrastructure engineers and developers to accelerate their work.

Built for AI infrastructure engineers and developers, across the model lifecycle

Crusoe Cloud starts with the user, with comprehensive IaaS and Managed AI Services. Infrastructure engineering teams build with the tools they already use, from the CLI and Terraform provider to the MCP server and APIs, on AI compute backed by both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. To train and tune, our IaaS portfolio includes orchestration through Crusoe Managed Kubernetes (now powering more than 70% of our GPU fleet) and Crusoe Managed Slurm.

To empower AI developers, Crusoe Intelligence Foundry offers Crusoe Serverless Fine-Tuning, so engineers can customize open-weight models through curated recipes without the burden of managing underlying infrastructure. When it’s time to serve the model, Crusoe Intelligence Foundry offers Crusoe Managed Inference where developers can select different deployment options such as Serverless Inference, Self-Serve Deployment, and Tailored Deployment for customers' own models. It all runs on our proprietary inference engine and MemoryAlloy™ technology, a cluster-native memory fabric that persists across nodes and eliminates redundant prefill for superior price performance. We call the through-line the 'architecture of immediacy': collapse the distance between data and compute, and give engineers deep control at every stage from build to train to serve.

Building on our data center roots, we also offer unmatched flexibility in deployments. Crusoe Edge Zones enable targeted use cases such as low-latency inference and deploy as dedicated regions where compute and data have to reside for strategic, sovereignty, or regulatory reasons. We hold ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications, among the first AI cloud providers globally to hold both, covering our information security practices and our responsible AI governance.

Great infrastructure is also about the people behind it. Our engineers work directly alongside our customers' teams, and because they run frontier-scale workloads themselves, they bring hard-won expertise to every problem. That engineering partnership is part of the platform, with named engineers on each account to help customers get the right balance of speed and throughput, unique to their application needs.

Our energy-first approach

All of it rests on energy. We build high-density, AI-optimized data centers with an energy-first design, powered by large-scale, low-cost power. We are in Iceland because of the abundance of geothermal energy. In Nevada, we work with partners at Redwood Materials to combine recycled EV batteries with a solar farm. We're expanding globally to meet demand where it is, with new data center capacity in Norway, home to abundant hydro energy, and in Israel, building on our existing footprint across the United States and Iceland.

Proven performance

Designing from the energy up is how we deliver high performance and pass real cost savings to the teams building on us, from low-cost compute to zero egress fees. That validation comes from NVIDIA directly. Crusoe is a Reference Platform NVIDIA Cloud Partner, building on NVIDIA's validated reference design for AI at scale, and Crusoe Cloud recently earned an NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud achievement for large-scale AI training on NVIDIA HGX B200 systems, running eight frontier models across multiple precisions. Launched in June, our Kimi K2.6 and Kimi K2.7 deployments (both leading open models) achieved state-of-the-art benchmarks on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard for response latency and output speed while running on Crusoe’s inference engine.

What I watch most closely is what builders ship on the platform. Here’s what founders and researchers are saying today about Crusoe:

  • “Our early experience with Crusoe's Serverless Fine-Tuning product was seamless, and it worked like a charm. We look forward to leveraging it to optimize the latency and cost of our AI agents as we scale our infrastructure." - Dr. Will Leeney, Dr. Hiskias Dingeto, AI Researchers, StackOne
  • "We are firmly entering the agentic era where swarms of digital minds proactively assist humans. This requires fundamentally rethinking the entire stack — models, harnesses, and infra. Crusoe is a recognized leader in the AI inference space, helping Yutori push out the Pareto frontier of capabilities, latency, and cost." -  Dhruv Batra, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, Yutori
  • "I would unqualifiedly recommend working with Crusoe. The whole team has been a pleasure to work with: very responsive, very understanding of the needs of compute-hungry startups, and quite creative as they explore new models of working together. The reliability, the large scale, the ability to grow with us as our compute needs increase have all been factors in a great partnership." - Lilly Wollman, Co-founder & CEO, Synteny

They join teams such as Cursor, Cognition, Fireworks, Luma AI, Hippocratic AI, 1X, and Nous Research building the future on Crusoe.

Looking forward

Crusoe is the AI factory company, and our mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We're committed to cloud AI infrastructure as our category and to building it for the long term. This placement is a milestone. The roadmap ahead is more ambitious still, and we're investing heavily across the platform and the team behind it so the engineers building the future have infrastructure that moves at their speed. We're all in on the category and on the future we're building toward. If you're building the next generation of AI, come build it with us.
