San Francisco, CAFebruary 23, 2026 — Crusoe, the industry’s first vertically integrated AI infrastructure provider, today announced it has achieved ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications. As one of the first AI-Cloud providers to achieve these certifications, it validates the company's integrated approach to security and responsible AI governance across its energy-first infrastructure. These globally recognized certifications, awarded following independent audits, reinforce Crusoe’s position as a trusted leader in the AI and cloud computing infrastructure space.

As AI becomes increasingly central to enterprise operations, the need for transparent and accountable management systems is paramount. Crusoe's dual certification addresses the unique requirements of compute-intensive AI workloads with security and governance integrated across its vertically-integrated infrastructure. While ISO 27001 establishes the foundation for Crusoe's information security practices, the ISO 42001 certification specifically recognizes the company's leadership in AI governance.

"We built Crusoe Cloud to deliver AI infrastructure that's both powerful and responsible," said Erwan Menard, Senior Vice President for Crusoe Cloud. "Achieving ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 validates that our commitment to security and ethical AI governance matches our commitment to performance. These standards add to our strong foundation of trust with our global customer base."

Setting a New Standard for Enterprise Trust

The dual certification provides independent, third-party validation of Crusoe’s security and governance frameworks across its entire technology stack:

  • ISO 27001 (Information Security Management): This certification demonstrates that Crusoe maintains a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS) across its cloud infrastructure and managed AI services, with controls in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data.
  • ISO 42001 (Responsible AI Governance): As an early adopter of the world’s first AI Management System (AIMS) standard, Crusoe governs AI through a comprehensive dual-lens approach:
    • As an AI Provider: Ensuring Managed Inference Services and AI offerings are safe, unbiased, and responsibly designed.
    • As an AI User: Governing internal use of AI—including software development (SDLC) and customer support—to ensure ethical and accountable implementation.
